When I was there in April I didn't have any issues. There was a nice older gentleman working who could speak/understand English pretty well! ^_^

I'm sure it's the same now as then but when I visited the Akihabara store back in 2010, they had a couple of staff members there that spoke English. The girl I talked to at first did an alright job and was very nice to me but she wound up grabbing a guy from the model and kit part of the store to come answer some questions I had. He actually had an armband on that said "ENGLISH" in big red letters on it. He spoke very good English and answered my questions quite easily.

So I wouldn't hesitate to go to the new Akiba store and shop if you don't know much Japanese. Someone there will be able to help you out in one way or another.

Also, if you have an Android phone, download the Google translate app for free off the Google Play store. I use it at my work for Spanish all the time and it's great for a free app. It's easy to use and will print out Japanese onscreen so people can read it or you can make it speak Japanese audibly so they can hear it. I didn't have that when I visited Japan and it would have come in handy a few times. But overall, there are LOTS of Japanese people who can either speak broken/basic English or will try their best to help you out if they don't know what you want or need. I was in Tokyo for 4 days and 5 nights and got by very well with my limited Japanese.

I gave up counting the girls I own, they keep multiplying and won't stop.

Thank you everyone, you all make me more relieved. I was quite afraid that I can do nothing there just because I can't spoke

I really hope to go Japan, visit the store and maybe if my money enough, I can finally buy my first girl or at least the head

One interesting point about D'Coord is that they're going to have exclusive items unique to this service even beyond just being unique to Akihabara. For example, their first D'Coord model will be a DDH-08 in semi-white, a skin tone you can't buy normally, in addition to coming with a finished faceup. The first D'Coords will be in various outfits from the Tenshi no Koromo line, but later on there will be some D'Coord exclusive outfits that get released.

The very first D'Coord doll will be sold by lottery on the 20th. Put your name in the hat at the store between 1000-1200, and the drawing is at 1300 by the D'Coord booth. After the first doll is sold, additional coordinate models will then be first-come-first-served. The first one is special because it's first, and also to limit the chaos of the crowds on the opening morning.

Those are some of the more interesting points from today's DD blog post.

This is awesome news! That makes the system much more similar to the FCS for SDs at Tenshi-no-Sato! I guess the sad part is that the branch at Akiba will never have the awesome scenery at TnS Kyoto

A fsc service for DDs? That's pretty cool, I wonder if they'll be considering releasing a tan skin option?
