Where to buy one DD?

Hi!

I would like to know based on your experience, where I could buy a DD? I want to buy one to make custom, could say a doll blank or base to customize, planned to buy one in volks japan, but I doubt the ad, as when buying doll that skin color is, also what kind of shipments has and about how much it costs, I live in south america, chile, and I want to buy one, I think it would be the first in my country if I buy it because it is unknown if anyone else has. sorry for my bad English ^^U

About your custom girl, it really depends on what head mold and body will work best for your character. A standard head with or without face up should be available at volks international (since volks usa don't ship to SA). The same goes for the body, be it the regular DDIII body, DD Sister or mini DD and maybe you would go for one of the ready made standard ones: yukino, aoi, rena, miko or mayu and customize her.

 

If you decide that one of the limited heads suits your character best then you can´t go with volks since the limited ones can only be bought from them on preorders or lotteries. So you are left with yahoo japan, mandarake, jungle, figure.fm and my personal favorite: http://www.dollfiedreams.com/viewforum.php?f=37 the marketplace here on the forums (a minimum count of 20 posts is needed to get access to it). Its my personal favorite cause you find all kinds of limited/ non limited dolls, accesories, and some rare stuff at good prices from very nice and trustworthy people.

Actually I have selected the body and head that I want, this would be a body DDIII, semi white / natural, along with a DD H06 Semi white / natural head, only those 2 wish things as style makeup anime, wigs me I get the inside of my country, and good eyes like me trying to do it myself as it is to paint and draw. You can buy standard (or limited) secondhand in Mandarake. Otherwise, if you want a standard and new you can go to Volks USA (if you live in USA) or Volks international

Well in case you are ok with it, like puxlavoix said, you could buy a body and a head in the secondary market, in this forum once arrived to a minimum number of posts you can access to the marketplace where users sell their used and new dolls , doll parts , heads, etc , or wait for a group order in Volks Usa (sometimes users organize a group order on some websites ) and buy your parts here and then having the person organizing the group order ship to you

 

Personaly i and Pharaviel have 5 girls in total (well 4 and a body XD) and all of them have been bought here on the forum from other users, in matters of bodies, and only 1 head have been bought directly from volks in a group order (the one is my girl Lilac head, customized by me) Pharaviel's Alba customized by Bellatrix a face-up painter here on the forum have been bought on ebay , 2 head bought here on the marketplace customized one by Anouc and another from an unknown face-upper
