T - "Sprout, my name is Torako and the little one there with Bud is my sister Kiririn. We found Bud some time ago and she was lost and scared. We took her in but she wouldn't even speak to us until she saw Kiririn dressed up in kitty ears and a tail. That somehow made her feel better and allowed us to talk to her so now Kiririn always wears the ears and tail, just for Bud. After that we took her in and she's been with us while I searched for her real family. I finally got in touch with Miss Rei and she was able to put all the pieces together for us."

Anyway, there are my newest girls! Yes I know I was hiding one from you but yall should know by now that I'm full of surprises. Before I go into the specifics, here are some extra pics of Kiririn and Torako....

Kiririn was adopted from Waha and she's a Volks prepainted 04 Mayu head on an Obitsu 40cm L-bust body.

Torako was actually the first face up that Subaru did. She's an 06 head with Twin Snow eyes and a Leeke World wig. She's on a DDdy body but is using a modified regular L-bust instead of the regular DDdy one. I wanted her to be a little different from the other DDdy girls I have so this was an easy way to do that. I adopted her from Moonfaery and I'm so glad I did! I just love this adorable and beautiful girl.

Now I'm up to 29 girls. And I'm capping the family at 30. Who's going to be number 30? I want Mirai Suenaga for that. I'm hoping to be able to get one by years end, I'm just waiting on Danny Choo to make her available for preorder.

I think you're right.... De Nile ain't just a river! And come on, you know full well I can't NOT hide a new girl! But don't feel too bad, you shall have your wish of outdoor pics of Torako! I actually took some of her with some flowers on Sunday and will post them up soon. I also have some nice shots of Mamami too.

I planned to let her meet the others of her size sometime soon and I *now* Minako will be a handful for Bud to deal with. I think I see a mini Manami type exchange in Bud's future.

Bud is basically Sprout in a smaller and angrier package. And she doesn't have a filter either so that tsun tsun attitude seems way bigger than Sprouts. But just like her older sister, Bud is really a good girl deep down, it's just hidden well. LOL

 

Heh, leave it to Manami to try all sorts of food and drink combinations. Some work out nicely while others I cannot figure out how she does them.

 

And I agree about Kiririn, that girl is way too cute for her own good! She worked out perfectly for me and has quickly become a favorite with the older girls. If you want to see more of her being super cute, make sure to check the thread I have in the photo section of her doing kitty things! And thanks again about her!

 

As for capping the family at 30, it's been something that's been on my mind for a long time now. I really do feel that I'm not giving my girls enuff attention sometimes. And by constantly adding more girls, it makes it harder to spend time with them and give them the attention they deserve. So putting an end to the additions is really something I need to do to make sure no one feels left out or ignored. That and I seriously have run out of space for them all!

 

I've also been keeping watch for the Mirai release info but it's been pretty barren for new info. I love how she looks and would love to add her as my last girl but the lack of info is beginning to be annoying. I understand it's complicated for Danny to get all this going due to demands from fans and getting everything together to be ready for sales so I'm not complaining too much. I just fear that if I don't get one in the early release, I may not wind up getting one until next year due to a limited supply. I certainly hope he can keep up with demand for her.

Awesome I hope you are able to get Mirari soon. Are you going to get the Smart doll or the Manual Version? I just saw some owner pictures today on figure fm and Flickr and she is so gorgeous and adorable.

 

Danny Choo just posted the prices on his Facebook page for the manual version.

 

Mirari doll=58000 JPY plus EMS shipping that would be 3600 JPY. I think that's a very good price and the thing that is making the temptation to get one even bigger :p

Thank you! Lenny seems to be quite popular here on the forums. I wonder if he knows he has a fan club? I wasn't sure who did Torako's faceup until I was told.
