kyattsu Posted June 18, 2014 Hey there everyone! Still ultra new to all this so please forgive me if I screw up somehow! This is my new and only doll, Kyaru Cadenza, who I have based off my long-running personal character from the online Final Fantasy games (XI and XIV). Elven eared and normally just 2'11" high, whcih this particular bosy she's not necessarily to scale :> I may eventually get a smaller body for her (40cm? whatever wouldn't look too bobbly while keeping this head) to get more of that proportionate feel. But I wanted a big doll for my first and I don't always draw her short anyway so there! ; ; ( end ramble) Anyhoo, enjoy my shoddy phone photos! Pre-ear mods: Post ear mods (sorry I only have this one outfit currently!): Props I made: Her ears are just the Parabox Elf ears carved out a bit more and glued on -- the seam is still very rough and I intend to go back later with some la Doll clay and fill it in/smooth it out and paint to make it nice :3 Int he meantime, her hairstyle covers it well enough! Staff made with La Doll Lay, Acrylic Paint, a big honkin' marble, and some hemp. Book made with Scrapbook paper, Leather, and matboard. ^^ It helps to work in a craft store to get materials for things. Talolili Posted June 19, 2014 Your Kyaru doll is so adorable and the props are great. I wish I was crafty like that. Maybe you could try the DDS body or even MDD body for her. kyattsu Posted June 19, 2014 She currently is a DDS body, based off a Mayu originally ^^ I could definitely try a MDD though at some point! I think it'd be rather cute for her :3 And thanks! This is the first time sculpting for me since.. probably high school (I'm 26 now!) so it was a bit of a pain and isn't perfect.
