Wig Troubles

Not sure if this belongs here, in the clothing & accessories section, or in the "Looking for" section but I'm curious about wig selections. I'm curious as to where to get some white wigs for DDdy because I know nothing of them. The one I have now is nice, I'm just wanting to see the selections out there of easy to access and purchase sites (not including Ebay and YJA) to help with Vara's appearance. I don't know what sizes to go for and etc.

 

I just need something that's pure white (snow white, paper white, clean cloud white) or whatever white variants are called these days for a DDdy (Miko). Anything that is heat friendly and newbie friendly is a bonus. I don't mind short white wigs or semi-long (under breast length) wig/hair. The one my Vara has right now is bothersome with it constantly finding ways to get all jumbled and messy. I want to look for something more "tame" and less lengthy now hmm. Some way to even tie it up, if necessary.

L or LL wigs will fit DD heads, though the newer heads are slightly larger than the older ones, it seems. Others with more dolls may be able to give better advice on that front, I only have an 03 and 06. Silicone wig cap keeps an LL wig from FMD on both the 03 and 06 quite nicely, though.

Miruya got some white wigs available. I don't have any of the white ones myself so I'm not sure how they look in person but the two I have (of different colors) are of pretty high quality.

I'm not the best with pictures looking awesome, but here is one of my current white wig with white inner on my OC Aurea Arleigh (she's a werebunny in the works). It was originally a couple inches longer but didn't fit in her hoodie well. Other pics of it in its original length can be found on my DA page. I'm still looking for a good long one for her full moon phase.

Oh! Now that might be closer to what I'm seeking. I'll sadly said it's not long enough for that "medium" range of shoulder or chest length. Getting gradually closer. Guessing I should just go for a long wig and cut it to the required length and I've thought and been recommended to do so, even at the meet-up I was at just recently. I could use the links given, or go with something more well known hmm. *shrugs*

I'm not sure but I think they may have longer versions of this one. It was originally about 1-2 inches longer that went inward but inhibited the use of my hoodie quite a bit.

I can keep my eyes peeled in the meantime since I am looking for a full moon phase one as well.
