finnleo Posted June 21, 2014 Another weekend, another outfit. This time something a bit more slinky, with the lack of a better word. a two piece china dress by Tc-Doll. Randomatic ended up with Haruhi this time around, and I think the slight mischief prone face does suit it nicely with some added flair with Kotori's default wig. Cheat notice: I used some blue-tack for the soles of the pumps, since working on glass is a bit slippery by nature. This also allowed the otherwise more challenging half-squat pose. also experimented with a black-out filter for longer exposures, and using my room fan as a cheapo wind machine, the wind machine idea not being so good, since in order to get any meaningful hair in the wind shots, it would have to be so close, and at such high volume there was no chance me lady would stay on her own feet... Considering who could fit into this nicely it was pretty much either Beat, Haruhi or Youmu, and out of the three Haruhi has seen the least shutter time... and despite being one of the older ladies, she still has some moves in her. Only afterthought I had was maybe a unitorso would have been more appealing considering the short top, but that still has its own restrictions. Id like to use this wig more frequently since its a very nice shade of burgundy, but as any kotori owner would tell, its quite the stain monster. as for haruhi's character.. I have loved this photo session!!! <3<3 Thank you very many. mmm.. well it was a bright idea to work on glass, except you can see the blobs in some shots spoiling the trick, but goes to show when you get into a posing mood you tend to overlook such stuff... maybe more careful next time. Thank you. mm, I kept sitting on the fence about getting one of these sets when Tc-Doll was still making them but I waited too long and they discontinued it, but was pretty lucky to see one up for grabs on YJA last month, and no more thinking time was needed. The wig is pretty nice considering its vintage, but as I mentioned its not for frequent use... although me Haruhi seems to be such a hard headed example that even her default wig hasnt managed to stain her... yet *knocks on wood* Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
