Megurine Luka DD?

I already seen Hatsune Miku DD (I don't like Miku honestly, don't hate me pls!)

Question is, will Volks be still making more Vocaloid DDs? I especially wanted Luka and Rin!

 

If I may customized her it will be Aoi

 

What you guys think?

As a fellow Luka Lover I got this! I'll be using Tony Taka's 1/7 Luka figure as a basis, but it's really up to your personal preference and which picture of Luka you like best.

 

She'll need a DDdy body since she's pretty curvy, either normal or semi-white skin, I'd say a Normal bust or a Natural bust (comes with Yoko DDdy only so far) since she doesn't seem to have as much clevage as the Shapely bust.

 

For her head I'd recommend a DDH-06 with a custom faceup. Another head might work, but there are so many character models that I don't know which would be best!

 

Volks Animetic Eyes Type H in Ruri Blue would be a good choice for her, but you may be able to find something nicer from a custom seller.

 

I couldn't find an in-stock hot pink wig that matched her style except on ebay, remember you'll need a 8-9 inch wig for a standard DD.

 

After that, you'll need to get a seamstress to make her clothes for you. There are quite a few here on Dollfie Dreams, I'm sure you'll be able to find one who can help

Oh yey, Luka is my favorite Vocaloid, so I'd love to see a DD of her!

 

I know a pretty good Taobao Luka BJD outfit if you're interested. If you want to order through a proxy, I would recommend Taobao Trends. ^^ (There's another one from the song "Sandplay Singing of the Dragon"~)

 

I'll get back to you on wigs, I think I have some bookmarked from when I was planning a Luka custom.

/edit: I recommend this wig from Luts (although it is 9-10" their wigs fit well on DD heads) or this one from Miruya, a Japanese text-based site that may require you to use a proxy if you don't know the language.

Personally I see Luka as more mature, so I think an 07 head would work perfect for her over an 06 like Necroid suggested. But that's dependent on whether you like your Luka Moe or not

 

as for the body, you can either go with a DDdy body, or a shapely L bust. again, up to your preference if you want bigger 'pais or not w.

Luka is definitely on my wishlist - she's my favourite Vocaloid character / voice only second to Gakupo who is top of the list when it comes my favourite members of the Vocaloid crew

Perhaps a compromise? The 09 head is a little trickier to get a hold of, but it's a bit like a younger/softer 07.

If it helps I have seen a few DDH-09 heads up on YJA recently (I've been looking out for one myself). It's worth having a look.

I (third?) agree with this. I was actually thinking about making my own Luka eventually myself (Original plan was Mami Tomoe from PMMM but eh...) and I would honestly go with an 07 or 09. Someone did a custom Luka DD (Quite a few people did, actually) and I believe they did use an 06. Here's how it turned out.

 

And someone on this forum used a V.1 Rin a while back in cosplay and it looked pretty good, if you want to get a limited sculpt.

 

I'd agree on a DDdy body. For a wig, I've got one from Leeke (It's a mix between Eve Cream and Baby Pink but I can still see the pink) and it's pretty soft (Although caution, they can have some spots on their wigs but like I said they're really soft) and for eyes, WDS. I have a pair I bought secondhand a while ago and WOW they're pretty! They're not blue (More like an amber-ish color) but blue would probably look as good, and they have a variety of eye styles to choose from.

 

And OP mentioned wanting Rin as well, so I'm just throwing this in for OP in case they haven't seen but Volks is doing Rin and Len in DD form. We're just waiting on promo pictures of the dolls and the details on how to acquire to come out.

 

Hopefully this helps! I'd love to see the final product. I'm curious on which outfit you're going to have her in.

I've just gotten more into Vocaloids and was toying with the idea of making my own Luka! I found a LeekeWorld wig that I liked. It comes in either pink cocktail or peach pink.
