Volks News 59 (DDH 08 and DDH 09 announced)

And I was super excited about white MDD back then too. I'm still hoping for a white MDD.

Did they really announce white skin mdd? I just don't remember when that happened.

As far as I know there were only two white skinned MDD girls made ( both character girls ) and it's been a long time since they were released. Volks never made any extra or replacement parts for them either which really bums me out since I have one of those bodies on my Bud. I'd love to have fists and pointy fingers for her!

You can always buy NS ones and blush to match the color. It's better than have none.

i really love the 09 head but the 08 head is so cute though and i hope to be able to find one. Maybe volks will add it later? They are both so lovely I definitely want one of these girls in the future.

I'm looking forward to when the blank heads become available. I might have a plan for an 09 :3

Does anyone know when the clothes will go on sale? Is it after the Dollpa on the 30th of August?

The new heads are gorgeous, but on a practical note what caught my eye when flicking through this issue was the Dream Rescue stain removal cream that Volks have started hyping ("DD skin trouble - with this, rescued!" says the lovely nurse-Miiko): Magazine Panel Shot here (on Flickr, since I apparently cannot yet use the gallery or link to most domains)

 

Whether it's a benzoyl peroxide cream and whether it's stronger or weaker than the level we can obtain through acne creams, I'm not sure.

 

It specifies that the cream takes 2 weeks to remove stains, so I think we might be able to safely assume it's a fairly mild formulation or they've deliberately dissuaded users from using lamps or other heat sources. Either way, could be useful!

 

They claim it's "Patent Pending" (特許出願中), too! We'll see if they actually print any patent numbers on the packet when it comes out.

 

Looks like they'll be pre-selling it at Dolpa Osaka 8 on Sunday of this week, so maybe people will try it out a little while afterwards.

Does anybody with 08 and 09 head want to comment on the sculpt number? I'm just curious where they fit in the timeline with other DD releases :3

Some stuff I noticed,

 

• The Choco-Mocha Cafe Style Set comes with jeans and fits DDdy
  
• The Dream Rescue cream was made in partnership with NISSIN KAGAKU KENKYUSHO, which has a long history (established in 1931 or 1955, depending where on the page you're reading)
  
• The black/white chairs are just chairs, and need a stand to plug into. They also say they only fit SDs, and they have a specific spot for butts to fit in. Does anyone know how good/bad this would fit a DD? I was looking forward to these :/

anyway Since it's over 2 weeks since the dolpa, I wonder if there any Japanese blog reviewing "Dream rescue" is it works pretty good on stains ?

I received my package yesterday,

 

a question about "dream rescue" ? mine a bit leaking when arrived so it's I am not sure if it's still good or not,but it really doesn't looks like a cream for me ? is it look like that or mine already decayed during shipping

 

With my Dream Rescue there was an oily residue in the packet and on the tub and it was almost solid when I opened it. I had to mix it up but it was so thick I only mixed the top layer thoroughly. It looks like it's made up of granules? I have no idea whether it's still good or not because volks have only just released it.

 

After one day it made no impact at all on the small stain I was treating, I'm leaving it on a bit longer this time and I'll let people know what happens.

 

It said to wash it off the doll every 1-2 days and re-apply if needed, but if you need to use it for a week or two you'll run out quick enough.

 

On thing I will say is that it's nowhere near as pungent as the Remove-Zit, but reading the safety on it it sounds much more dangerous to humans!

 

I hope it doesn't cause swelling like my last batch of Remove-Zit did.

Also, skin protection tape, the NS skin is a good match but the SWS is slightly pinker than the actual skin, compared to the volks pictures with the tape and Miku, you'd barely notice though.

Exactly that what mine looks too, oily residue on package, almost solid cream and I tried after like 36 hours it don't looks to work at all... for now I am glad just bought one

You don't see DDH-08 around much. Is it a blank head or a painted one from an auction?

Could I ask, does anyone with a longer history with DDs know how long Volks usually take to restock their heads? I've been wanting to get a DDH-06 but they're always out of stock. How long has it been like this, I only started checking the Volks webstore regularly a couple weeks ago?

 

And sorry if this is a silly question, but when would the new heads 08 and 09 be available online? Because the 09 feels also like it could fit the look I want to create.

they dont have a schedule. restocking is only done when they feel like it.

How long have they been out of stock for the heads, surely just a couple of months?
