I want to see his head sculpt though.... I NEED a boyish looking anime head the other heads do not work for me.

I can't wait to see what his final version looks like. Totally psyched!

Just WOW at that last sculpt image. This is when I start my mantra of "Please let the head sculpt be good! Please let the head sculpt be good!"

But somehow the hip bones double lines at the end of the torso irks me for some reason. I know a toned man would have those defined hip bones but it seems too defined >~< probably just me though. ...

Somehow I kinda didn't picture Eiji to be as buff as this cosplayer and if you base it on his abs, Eiji is toned but not enough to give him the double lines at the hips. Who knows maybe Danny will tone it down? Still, Eiji is looking pretty good. I am looking forward to seeing what his head is going to look like. *fingers crossed*

Sign me up! No, seriously. I really like the new sculpt. The tone of his body seems just right because after all Eiji is a Solar Marine.

I really love the body and wouldn't want it to be any less buff than it is because it would start to get into bland territory. If I want bland, I'll go to Obitsu. I think the hoso macho version as it is would be great for Ralph, but I'm still thinking that it would be fun to put Kiyoteru on the macho body.

 

I know Danny is really looking for input into the male body, but at the same time it feels like it is trying to compensate for how insecure he might feel about doing it. I just want to shake him sometimes and tell him to make up his own durn mind! I could be wrong, but that's how I feel. At some point artistic interpretation has to just step in and say 'this is what is being done' and just move from there. You can't make something perfect for everyone.

I have to admit I would have like a bit less muscular body for some parts too, to make some bishounen. Obitsu are fragile and so it would be great to have a nice and solid alternative.

Though I think the most important thing is to make the body compatible with for example SD17 Volks, to be able to share actual clothes. Poor boy can't stay naked

SD13 would be fine too, as there are a lot of clothes for SD13 boys too. But I wonder if SD13 wouldn't be a bit small for a boy next to a DD. Not sure though as I don't have any SD13 here ^_^

I have Luts Delf boys which are similar in size to SD13 (wears SD13 clothes anyway) and, yeah, they are a little small next to DD girls. They're about the same height, but if the girls are wearing heels... My Senior Delf boy (65cm with shoes), on the other hand, is the perfect height difference in my opinion. Noticeably taller than the girls without towering over them. According the Japan Culture character art, though, I guess Eiji should be a little taller than that still.

I hope he's a little taller than the girls but he's looking good to me!

Mirai is already taller than DD and Danny said that Eiji will be a bit taller than her, so I'm not worried about the DD to Smart Boy height comparison.

This is probably more muscular than most folks will like, but he was feeling wasp-waisted and with too much detail around the belly.

Jadepixel, yay, you fixed the torso details that were bugging me too, lol. Making him broader overall does seem to improve him... people were complaining that his legs were too long. But if he loses legs length, he'd be too short. So people said, make his torso longer--but his torso is long enough, we don't need a bean pole doll ^^;;; I wonder how Jadepixel's repaint proportions compare with similar size resin BJDs.

I love the paint over! Yeah, his rib cage made me feel very "?????????" I like what you did with the legs too-- looks lovely and more well-rounded. The belly button looks so much better too.
