so at about £330 ish with no postage or custom fees I am way off ever getting this boy unless they can sell his body separately.. and then I would be looking to get with the "Buff" body parts so even more XD looks like it may just be two 65cm Obitsu's.. yay........ x^x

Personally I'll refrain from stating how much I've been drooling over the pics that are posted. It is still hard for me to know what I'd do with Eiji since we still haven't seen his face, but that's not going to stop me from buying him anyway. The only really tall characters I can think of is Mori from Ouran, or Vash the Stampede (who would be perfect with that body in my opinion.) I've thought about seeing if he would work for Kiyoteru's body, and I'm pretty divided on if I'd like that or not since Naiomi is a DDS. I've thought about making him Rei from Free! but then I'd have to find the right body for Nagisa. Dang curse of DD coming in pairs.

 

Of course I have a high expectation that I'm probably going to like Eiji as himself, because I like his character design and he's a megane!!! But still I'm baffled as how he would fit in the family. Of course I have the record of keeping only 2 out of my 5 limited DD as their original characters, so who knows.

 

I'm starting to wonder if that might be the body for Madison who will get here late this year. I'm not sure what I think about that either. If I did, maybe I could make Eiji's sculpt into another younger boy.

well I hope this would happen. with all the talk of making different boys with this body I would think selling the body spectate would come in handy for them.

I'm so excited that I'm not really comprehending how excited I am. SO glad that I added Vash to the poll on Eiji's product page. No idea if it will ever become a reality but I'm still thrilled I was able to add one I've been thinking about for a long time.

I should have realized it earlier that Kamui Gakupo (Vocaloid) would be perfect on the Smart Boy body! So then all we'd be missing is the 'village idiot' Kaito. (He made me mad for a long time because of how people said that he and Kiyoteru sounded the same. Much to my dismay, his character is so goofy that I couldn't resist liking him because he made me laugh. Calling him the village idiot isn't meant to be mean, but more like a king's fool/jester type character.) Plus to me Kaito and Len always seemed to be close friends so of course Len would want him here.

It looks like Vash is one of the more popular suggestions! (I still haven't watched Trigun. ^^; ) Though, if you think your suggestion's a long shot, mine isn't even anime.

 

Still, I wish I could vote for more than one without hijacking family members' computers--I'd totally be tempted by Kenshin or Howl, especially if Howl had a black wig. I'm sure there will be other awesome suggestions too I'll want to put in my two cents for.

Trigun is really awesome! And Vash is just crazy! Now that I think about it, he might fit with your household Poofy... He's kinda like Agatha, but he's not an inventor. More like a wandering gunslinger rogue in a bright red trench coat and hair that defies gravity. He always seems to make life eventful.

Oh, the flaw? I can assure you he's an upright citizen. Heart of gold and all. The sixty billion double dollar bounty is just a misunderstanding. Other than that, it's nothing you aren't used to with Agatha. She regularly leaves desolation in her wake too, so I'm sure you already know how to deal with that.

 

By the way, black hair Howl would be awesome! And now that you mention it, it wouldn't be bad to have a Doctor in the house to keep everyone healthy.

But see that's the awesome thing about vinyl/DD versions is that I always assume you can yank their characters out at any point in their timeline leaving all the greatest stuff intact.

Naw, that is what I do. Technically they're yanked out of their universes too--half the fun for me is seeing them interact not just with each other but with normalcy. They've all had some pretty extreme cirbleepstances to deal with in their canons, so when up against day-to-day life their coping mechanisms can be entertainingly ridiculous.

I never really thought about it this way. That's all shades of awesome. It fits along with the science that no matter can truly be lost, it just changes or shifts states.

 

In one of my stories I've been writing for a few years, the main character starts out as an old man near the end of his life. By 'chance' he meets an odd boy on the beach who helps him toss a message in a bottle into the ocean. When the old man later wakes up he's a young man again, his wish granted, but he's no longer in the reality he left. I don't know why I never thought of that similar concept with my DD.

 

I firmly believe that no story ever ends. The storyteller just need to find the next chapter.

If you look at the beginning of the thread you can see all the body work. he does not have anything down there.

Yeah though i thought danny just did that for prototype sampling XD i knew when he was modeling it he was saying what to do with it which was amusing. I didnt know this would be the final product .

He has mentioned 'additional parts' that could be attached with a magnet? I'm in a bit of a brain fog after spending along day with my family, but I'm pretty sure he said something along those lines since people were so divided over the level of detail I think.

I was actually a bit sad that Smart Doll boy would have less details as my bjd boys but I could have lived with it I guess. Dannys decision in the end

Personally I could care less if he has actual bits or not, as long as his pants don't look empty. My Obitsu 55 boy doesn't bother me at all. Resin guys can be detailed, but many just have a simple tic tack anyway.

Well I have Ringdoll boys... That tells you everything I guess! But I swear, I did not pick them out of that reason

 

In the end the nipples for Eiji were more important to me for shirtless photos hihi
