I like the blond mostly out of the three hehe. Eboni is nice too. (boy ebony with an I lol that's his name from me now)

 

Just saw this pic on Twitter and started giggling just knowing that some of you out there are going to go bonkers over the tan version. What can I say, I just like hearing people be happy.

with my boy being custom i just want him now XD if they had a normal tan ( not so orange) I would of gone for that for El but normal is fine sine Error is so pale he will look tan anyway XD

 

it will be nice to see him as a Harmoni too when that happens.

Ah that make sense now XD well a "double pack" would be cool on the option on buying. maybe if her had the option to buy two girls, guy and girl and two guys at a discount would be awesome. not that i will ever need that though XD.

I thought the same thing of the ebony skin tone but at the last doll meet I went to i got to see one in person and the color isn't as orange as pictures make it look. Plus we were in indoor lighting at the time which tends to add a reddish tone to things.

He did mention before the benefits of using two Eijis as BL pose reference

I wonder if the two-pack would be cheaper than normally buying two. Either way I can only afford one Eiji anyway, tempting as Tanji is. Although I want to see him with a darker wig too.

 

I wonder if those underwear are final? I know Danny apparently does extensive stain testing of all his fabrics, but I'm still a bit uneasy about him possibly having black undies...

 

re: the 'orange' tan, there are a lot of photos of the tan boy and tan girl (ie ebony) bodies together and they seem to be the exact same hue, and I've seen enough photos of Ebony to know that her skin tone looks just fine; it must be the lighting. Would like to see some pics of him with differing lighting now that he has a faceup.

its good to know but i still think its not right for him. El would be a sun tan guy so i would want more os a brown tan look then the naturally born tan skin.

As for a twin pack... Ebony would be the right tone for another character in the same series. If I can get a straight jet black wig for him and some dark brown eyes (Like, coffee brown) Then say hello to Markus! Of course, That may be me slightly jumping the gun. Also could I really pull off the same sculpt for those two? I don't want them to look too similar. Maybe get a custom faceup for Markus too? Maybe the default works for him?? Many many questions...

True. That's the case with the character I have in mind anyway. He doesn't know quite what he is since he's adopted but in his own words "I'm happy here, so I don't really care."

indeed. well we can hope for the future that he may add more colours to the table.

Danny knows his audience very well =D I love how he is always advertising BL instead of Eiji and Mirai because he knows some of us girls love it.

 

I would like a tan closer to a brown color, not an orange-ish color but I love how Ebony looks so a color like that should be fine for me.

That's a real Japanese surname actually It's interesting though, I guess he'll make two more characters. Otherwise it'd be something like Hikikomori Eiji & Beach Eiji.

Those glasses are great! I wonder if there will be different frame colors.

Glasses along the lines of Mari's would be nice. You know, so they don't break from just touching them.

He doesn't mention Eiji anywhere in that post, plus is using Mirai to model them, so I still wouldnt count on Eiji coming with them (although itd be nice if they were released at the same time like I said.)

I just worry about the price.

But it would be cool to have SmD specific glasses because I've seen pics of people using ones for obitsu and DDs that are just too wide for their heads. (Although the obitsu ones Danny put on Eiji before looked fine)

 

I like that he mentioned wanting to find a way that reduces the risk of scratching the face paint. I have a custom pure neemo who wears glasses and the Azone glasses are essentially just a bit of metal bent into shape with plastic lenses put in. The edges are worryingly sharp and I scratched his first faceup by accidentally jabbing him in the face with his own glasses. :c I imagine DDs and SmDs faceups are alot more durable than My First Custom but I'm still glad he recognizes that risk. (Is it a very big risk with the currently available glasses that fit DDs? I'm curious.)

These glasses actually don't rest on the face. The side things are tight enough, and they're light enough, that they just float on her face. They're by HDP.
