Agreeing with everyone else, I love your edit Yukamina, and I'd buy him if he looked more like that.

His eyes looks okay to me imo, but I can't get over that....duckface of his, those lips are a tad bit too pouty

actually I like the face profile, jawline etc, but the nose bridge was started to low, its really frustrating to saw a promising sculpt looks kinda weird

I can't see the image you have linked but I have seen him on Facebook and he is starting to grow on me the new faceup is alot better and I like it.

I think that the lips are the only problem currently. They look way too cat-like in some way. Luke these Moe anime girls. The smile should be more subtle IMO. But this looks leagues better than the first shot we saw. Danny, can we get a pic without the wig?!! Because it changes a lot about the original facial frame.

I defenitely like the new face up more, especially the way they have done the smile!

 

Now I am waiting for the other head molds Danny has up his sleeves!

WOW!! EIji looks more promising with that second face up! now I know that my Meiko will have her Oniichan and my other girls will fight for this guy's love.. lol

I think that the 2nd faceup looks almost the same as your edit Did you get any response from Danny?

This face up looks better but..I don't know. I'd like to see the sculpt blank with some mock ups done.

Someone needs to learn how to do some mods like the ones on YJA haha fix that nose

The change to the eyes is a huge improvement. Eiji really should not be allowed near the girl's makeup kit... or quit taking lessons from Rainie on how to 'fix his face.' Seriously though, I really can't wait to see him with his glasses because it can change a lot. I'm not expecting that it will transform him into a different sculpt or anything (because I LIKE this one!) but I do know a thing or two about what I think about megane without their specs.

 

And even though we don't know what the final sculpt will be, for one I'm really glad that we finally get to see updates! (By the way, Eiji's faceup page has been updated.)

The more I see the better the improvements seem to get. The overall style still isn't my thing, but if it supports Danny's effort to try and get licenses for more mature looking male characters then so be it. I'm not totally hating Eiji now as much at the moment, but I hope that nose and mouth are adjusted.

I don't mind this Eiji, he looks much more likeable now and not feminine. Personally I don't like the dark little smile lines at the corners of the mouth but that's just a pet peeve of mine in general, I hate it when they're too prominent on ANY bjd but it wouldn't be a deal breaker as it's an easy fix.

On the faceup page, I like him in the shorter wig. Looks much better. Really want to see him in glasses now though.

I love the latest face up! Eiji's really starting to grow on me :3 Looks like he's ready to join Iwatobi swim club too.

 

Danny replied and accepted my pic edit (I did an HD version at his request), we'll see if he incorporates any of those changes ^^

Yeah, he's looking much better! I agree about toning down the corners of the mouth, and also I'd straighten or remove the lower lashes since they are shaped to indicate a smiley expression.

Yeah, the second faceup with the wider mouth is much better. The eyes still feel too high on his head though, and I wouldnt say no to more nose. ^^;

I'm excited to see the 'grumpier' version, I did a little photo-jiggery tweak to remove the dark smile lines and honestly I find him really nice like this.

 

 

I could well be in danger to this guy now. Even my partner (who ironically is also called Danny) likes the look of him this way. He actually said he wants one if there is a more serious version made. When I asked why he said "You're a girl with girl dolls, why canb't I be a man with a man doll?" Fair point to him XD

 

Now I've just gotta hope that when the time comes, I won't be banned from the culture japan shop

That. I admit I sort of wish his jawline was a little wider? But mostly he's stuck in this really long face look cause the eyes are so high.

Oh, that's really strange to hear. Why all of this happened? Have you offended him in any way?
