um.. Im Pluto, 18, female. I live in California. I like photography and modeling and i found out about this site and realized how much i need a doll to model!!!! i dont have a doll yet but i am about to start saving up! And need some help finding places i can buy one, used or new!

I like to read, draw, write, and take pictures. I dont have a job yet, but i make money by doing commissions (but not much). i like anime, manga, old movies, horror movies, gore. I have a growing thigh high collection.

Hi there. I'm also relatively new to the hobby; I have two girls, though none to show. One is waiting for her dress to be made, and the other is in pieces waiting for other parts to complete.

 

As for where to buy, for cost you're best to buy direct from volks. Any non-damaged aftermarket doll will be more expensive than a brand new one. You can buy in pieces and build from scratch, though. A bit more effort and time involved going that route, but not necessarily a bad thing.

 

The marketplace here, Mandarake and Yahoo Japan are probably your best bet for aftermarket dolls. But as I said, prepare to pay quite a lot for any complete girls!
